Insert a description of the image here.Each semester, the Service Learning Institute sponsors opportunities for Service Learning faculty to discuss their scholarly work related to service at lunch time sessions called "Soup, Salad, & Service".

Previous presenters have been Professor Stephanie Johnson, Visual & Public Art; Professor Sanjay Lanka, School of Business; Dr. Gerald Shenk of Social Behavioral/ Global Studies; Professor Enid Blader of Teledramatic Arts & Technology; Dr. Scott Waltz and Dr. Miguel Lopez of Liberal Studies, Professor Rina Benmayor of Human Communication, and Professor Lila Staples of Visual and Public Art.

The first Fall 2011 "Soup, Salad, & Service" on Thursday, October 5, with Laura Tantillo, CSUMB Alumna and Rev. Rick Slone of Dorothy's Place.
Soup, Salad & Service events take place at the Service Learning Institute (Bldg 45A) at 12:00 - 1:30 pm.

For four semesters, Service Learning faculty have shared their experiences and practices with students, staff, and colleagues over a light lunch. All are welcome.
