Welcome to the Visual and Public Arts (VPA) Service Learning
page.
If you are enrolled in VPA306S VPA317S,
VPA320S, VPA321S or VPA497S, you must select a service learning
placement at one of our partner school sites. Our partnerships
include schools and community agencies that serve a largely
underrepresented population. To complete your Placement Form
click Student
Forms and follow the directions listed under REQUIRED
FORMS: ALL OTHER students”.

All service learning students are required
to fill-out service learning placement and evaluation forms
online. They facilitate the liability and risk management
process, and serve as the official record that a CSUMB student
is working in an officially sanctioned service learning placement.

All students must also sign a SERVICE
LEARNING AGREEMENT with their community-based site
supervisor and course instructor. To find and download a copy
of the Service Learning Agreement Please visit Student
Forms.
Students who are majoring in Visuals & Public Art are
required to complete two upper division service learning courses
before graduation. If you need more information about this
requirement please contact VPA Advising at 582-4560.
